U.S. Senator for Utah 2024 Campaign

- Policy -

Introduction

We cannot keep sending politicians to Washington who are so deeply connected to their own self-preservation, financial interests, or are not interested in preserving our U.S. Constitution.

We need a U.S. Senator that will serve for all those who live within Utah borders and has the understanding of how Washington works. I became Independent because after being a Republican for so long, I now fear nothing will ever change with our two-Party system. With the constant contention and lack of collaboration our politics have become cancerous. I feel we need a U.S. Senator from Utah that will help bridge the divide but stand firm in their convictions of a smaller government and U.S. Constitution.

I have worked at the federal level for almost 15 years applying advanced technologies. I am an engineer and have been trained as a scientist. I know the facts of the climate debate because I value our environment as a civil engineer. I am not a politician, and I will not be persuaded by money or influence of lobbyists and donors.

My experience in the Department of Defense has taught me the honor of defending freedom. I have also seen what freedom means - it is the sacred duty we have to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic - to ensure every person has their Rights preserved.

I have been privileged to work with SEAL teams in Coronado, Special Forces, and the Marine Corps in Yuma. I have influenced the application of AI with the Department of Defense and feel this is one of our most important issues as it will affect the United States’ trajectory in almost all aspects. We cannot hamper innovation by discouraging the development of AI. We also cannot allow big tech to progress towards Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) without proper oversight. If left unchecked, as the tech industry builds its AI base, it will progress towards mass exploitation of our data and the environment, and the Executive Branch under Biden will further its erosion of our Constitution. We must have a U.S. Senator familiar with AI and understands the dangers and incentives of it.

I have interfaced with Admirals, Generals, and the Secretary of the Navy on multiple occasions. I have interfaced with academia and industry for many years applying advanced technologies. We need a senator who can help bring this industry to Utah and can facilitate the economic growth. There is great opportunity for Utah to take advantage of H.R.4346 - Chips and Science Act Science by passing legislation that incentivizes venture capitalists and stratups to come to Utah. This will provide incredible opportunities for our next generation and help build Utah’s economy by providing another source of revenue.

Just like before WW2, we are seeing a growing philosophy of thought that socialism or communism (governments driven by tyranny and oppression) are better than governments driven by the will of the people.
